When you use the app, you create an account and we process your contact details, such as your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number. We store login data, access data, transactions, changes and movements that you perform in the app.

The data and documents displayed to app users are obtained from the relevant Allianz Suisse business areas and systems and remain visible for as long as users are logged in. In connection with the use of the app, all personal data necessary for carrying out the relevant processes and services may therefore be processed. The data may be transmitted to users via in-app messages, push notifications, SMS and e-mail, as well as by post. Where data are transmitted by regular e-mail, the transmission is unencrypted.

We also process technical data, such as IP address, general information about the operating system and browser, information about visits to our application (date, time, duration of visit, number of views, content accessed), visitor source (referring website), device identifiers and access data.

By creating an account and providing or uploading your data, you give us the corresponding consent to use these data. We use the data to ensure the operation of the applications and to improve them, as well as for the purposes set out in Part 1, Information on data protection. The following purposes are the main focus: ensuring and further developing the applications, purposes that are expressly stated when the data are collected or are obviously connected with the provision of the data, marketing, and maintaining existing and future customer relationships.

We may send push notifications from the app to your device if you have consented to this function in the app (iOS, iPadOS/Android) and activated it in the settings of your mobile device. You can switch this permission on and off at any time in your app. This setting applies across devices. We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) from Google to send push notifications.

To enable us to deliver messages to your device, a technical push token is transmitted to Google. This token is used exclusively for delivery and does not allow external parties to draw direct conclusions about you personally. Google processes these data on our behalf. The processing may also take place in the United States. To protect your data, Google uses recognised security and contractual mechanisms. Further information on data protection at Google can be found at: policies.google.com/privacy.

The delivery of notifications to your device is carried out via the operating systems and servers of Apple (iOS/iPadOS) and Google (Android). Apple and Google may be able to view the content of the push notification. Delivery may also take place via servers abroad, including in the United States. Further information on data protection for your device’s operating system can be found on the manufacturers’ websites and from Google ( policies.google.com/privacy) or Apple ( Apple Privacy Policy).
