Among other things, the premium depends on your pet's breed, gender and age and the chosen benefits. It also makes a difference whether your cat is an indoor or an outdoor cat.
No age limits
Whether your cat is a kitten or a senior citizen – Allianz cat insurance covers all breeds and ages. It is even possible to include pre-existing conditions on request.
Premium without age adjustment and monthly right of termination
The older your pet, the higher the premium? Not with us. The premium for our cat insurance remains the same during the term of the contract, even as your cat ages. In addition, there are no fixed contract terms: after the first year, you can terminate the insurance to the end of a month at any time.
Simple reimbursement process
You pay the veterinary invoice directly and submit it to us easily and conveniently online. We then reimburse the costs of your pet's medical treatment promptly.
ADDITIONAL COVERAGES
Cover for pre-existing conditions
Does your cat have pre-existing conditions such as diabetes or dental problems? With its supplementary cover for pre-existing conditions, Allianz cat insurance also covers health problems like these. That way, you can insure health conditions that your four-legged friend had before the start of the contract.
Good to know: There is a blocking period for costs related to pre-existing conditions of three months before the start of the contract and one month thereafter. Health problems that occur during this period are not insured.

With Allianz cat insurance, you can insure your fearsome feline against illness and accident from just CHF 23.20 per month. The amount of the premium depends on various factors, such as your cat's breed and age and the chosen benefits and deductible.

With our cat insurance, which we offer together with our partner Calingo, your cat is in the best possible hands in the event of illness or accident. And here's how the insurance works:
- Choose the kind of cover you need for your cat: basic, standard or all-round.
- If your feline needs medical treatment, take them to the vet's.
- Pay the invoice and submit it to us easily and conveniently online.
- Depending on the insurance option, we will promptly reimburse up to 100% of the costs.
No, our pet insurance has no age limits. From young kittens to senior citizens, you can insure all cats with us – the breed doesn't matter either.
Good to know: Unlike other providers, we do not raise the premiums as your cat ages. As older cats have to go to the vet's more often and therefore generate more costs, you have to pay a deductible of 20 percent for cats aged 8.
Among other things, our pet insurance does not cover cosmetic surgery, trips to the vet's during the waiting and blocking period, pregnancy, infertility and treatments not prescribed by a vet.
